Milling

Milling process is used in a variety of industrial applications and wherever the complex shaping, removing large amounts of material, accuracy is required. Our milling machines are used produce planar surfaces, cut-outs and slot or hole features.

Turning

Turning is a form of machining, a material removal process, which is used to create rotational parts by cutting away unwanted material. The turning process requires a turning machine or lathe, workpiece, fixture, and cutting tool.

Jigs & Fixtures

Highly precisioned Jigs and fixtures are production tools used to accurately manufacture duplicate and interchangeable parts. Jigs and fixtures are specially designed so that large. numbers of components can be machined or assembled.

Pecision Milling

Precision machining is a process, involves shaping large pieces of material into more precise parts, so that they can meet very exact specifications. This process involves cutting, milling, turning, and electrical discharge machining, and is generally performed using our Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment.

Fabrication

Our fabrication workshop employs a multitude of value added processes, including welding, cutting, forming & machining. Adding value to our customers by offering these multiple services in one place. We undertake heavy fabrication equipment in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. We provide durable & cost effective structural work, power generator [lants, jigs & fixtures. Our speciality is fabrication of beams, columns, pillars & isolators for various substations.

Heavy Duty Steel Working Platforms

Manufactured to suit working areas. These platforms are sandblasted, painted with epoxy undercoat and polyurethane top coat for better protection against corrosion and damage from sun exposure.

Metrology

We provide quality check services with Hi-tech Instrumentation. We are equipped with some of the latest measuring equipment of our time. We are able to provide high-quality measuring technology with the use of a co-ordinate measuring machines.

Training and Development

General Engineering Works is committed to providing young aspiring engineers with the tools to advance their knowledge and abilities. We provide training through a variety of platforms and services, ensuring the needs of every young engineer are met. We have partnered with various institutions such as TDM (Tooling Manufacturing Industry), MERSETA, and F.E.T. training.
